11 Year Old Steals Car, Crashes It With 13-Year-Old Accomplice in Portland

This last week north of Portland, two runaway boys around 11 and 13 reportedly stole and crashed a car, drove down the block for about a mile, got out and hid from police until later found and arrested!

A spokesperson for the Portland Police Bureau, Sgt. Pete Simpson acknowledged arresting an 11-year-old was not an everyday occurrence. In this particular case, the 11-year-old was already known to the police.

Both of the boys were taken to Donald E. Juvenile Detention Home and charged with the unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
