A 12 year-old girl was taken off life support and died on Monday. This was after she was accidentally shot in the head while at a range near Cle Elum with her mom and her mom's boyfriend.

She had placed her .22 caliber rifle on a railing. Her mom's boyfriend noticed the hammer was still pulled back on the rifle. When he tried to release the hammer, the rifle fired, hitting the girl in the head.

The boyfriend performed CPR while the mother called 911.

She was airlifted to a Seattle hospital, but was taken off life support the next day.

If you want to help support the girl's family, there is a fundraiser to help pay her funeral expenses.
