17 Year Old From Pasco Dies in I-182 Rollover Crash

A 17 year old from Pasco named Israel Acosta died Wednesday when the SUV his girlfriend was driving lost control and flipped on I-182.

His girlfriend, Ruby Gomez of Kennewick, was driving east on I-182 when she lost control and rolled the Cadillac Escalade. The SUV hit the cable barricade and then landed on it's roof back on the highway, according to reports.

Gomez is in stable condition after being rushed to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco.

Police say the crash was caused by driver inattention.
