Ever been to a 'Lentil Festival'? Now is your chance!! Why you ask? Well, it's a great excuse to join other people from all different parts of the country to enjoy fun activities, and a diverse assortment of lentil culinary delights!

Or perhaps, if you went to school in Pullman, it's a good excuse to revisit!

The 27th annual National Lentil Festival, presented by the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, city of Pullman and Washington State University, will be held Friday and Saturday, Aug. 21-22, in Pullman.

The top five finalists for the festival’s Legendary Lentil Cook-off hail from as far away as Texas and California.

 And, approximately 20 percent of the lentils in the U.S. are grown in the Palouse region.
