The Annual Rocky Horror Picture Show event is coming back to Prosser this Saturday October 28th with two showings.

You can trick-or-treat adult style at the Princess Theatre in Prosser once again this Halloween. The event is in it's ninth year and looks to be a lot fun this year again, here are the details from a posting on Facebook about the event.

The theatre will host two showings of Rocky Horror Picture Show on Sat., Oct. 28th at 8 p.m. and midnight.

The cost is $15 per person for admission to the movie, props bag and pre-show parties at 7 and 10:30 pm in the theatre’s adjoining Green Room.

The ninth annual parties include music, Halloween treats, a trivia contest, a no-host bar with local wines and microbrews available by the glass, and a “Time Warp Costume Contest” at 7:30 and 11:30 pm.

Rocky Horror Picture Show is not a horror film; it is a rock-musical send-up of old science-fiction and horror films. Originally a stage play, the movie was released in 1975, and has become a cult classic interactive experience. More information about the movie is at www.rockyhorror.com.

As part of the RHPS experience, attendees are encouraged to dress up in costumes, yell back lines at the movie and act out the film with a bag of props. Due to theatre policy, attendees will not be permitted to bring their own props into the theatre. The $15 ticket includes a props kit with the script, bubbles, newspaper, toast and more.

First-time RHPS attendees are traditionally referred to as “virgins.” Training/refresher sessions for the interactive portions of the film will begin at 7:45 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.

The Princess Theatre is presenting Rocky Horror Picture Show with the permission of 20th Century Fox. The movie is rated “R.” Those under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Princess Theatre is at 1228 Meade Avenue in Prosser, online atwww.ThePrincessTheatre.net, on Facebook at ProsserPrincessTheatre and on Twitter at ProsserPrincess.
