Ariana Grande has a lot to be thankful for, and we're not just talking about her exes.

With "thank u, next" a bona fide smash, Grande is now the first female artist in three years to debut—unaccompanied by another artist or guest feature—on the Billboard Hot 100.

It's a major milestone for the artist, as well as for women in music in general. The last artist to hit the No. 1 spot was Adele, who released her mega-hit single "Hello" in 2015.

On Twitter Monday (November 12), Grande reacted to the news in disbelief.

"for once i don’t really have words," she tweeted.

The Sweetener singer's Hot 100 debut follows a string of other impressive chart achievements.

Last week, Grande became the first female artist of 2018 to top both Spotify's Global and U.S. charts.

On the U.S. Apple Music Streaming Chart, "thank u, next" hit No. 1 and reportedly became the first and only pop song of 2018 to reach the top of the chart.

"thank u, next" also hit the Top 5 of iTunes in the U.S.
