Richland police have apprehended two teens in connection with a shooting that left bullet holes in one of the units in the Alyson Manor Mobile Home Park on Mahan Street in Richland.

Tuesday evening police responded to reports of shots fired around 5:15pm.  Witnesses reported later seeing two people wearing black or dark clothing in the area.

Wednesday, the two 16-year-old boys were taken into custody. One suspect, a Hanford High student, was reached by police shortly after midnight Wednesday morning. The other, a student at Rivers Edge High alternative school, was arrested this morning.

No weapons were found on the boys when they were taken into custody. Nobody was injured in the shooting, but bullet holes were found in the side of one of the trailers located on G Street inside the complex.

Police did not release any information about possible motivation for the alleged shooting. The investigation continues.
