There were two major accidents yesterday on Clearwater Ave.in Kennewick just minutes apart. The 1st accident a pedestrian was killed when an 84 year old man lost control of his vehicle and struck and killed a 60 year old Kennewick man. The 84 year old claims the accelerator got stuck and that is why he lost control of his vehicle.

A Kennewick man was hospitalized after hitting a house on south Sherman street in Kennewick. He was allegedly driving drunk. According to KNDU the man tried to report the car as stolen.The Kennewick, Pasco, Richland and West Richland Police Departments, the Benton and Franklin County Sheriff’s Offices and the Washington State Patrol will participate in Washington State’s first-ever Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
