BREAKING-Aaron Hernandez Arrested at Home–Dropped from Patriots

After a week of being silent about the rumors, Aaron Hernandez was arrested at his home this morning. If you have not been following the story, last week a man was found dead near the football players home. There were rumors that Aaron Hernandez had destroyed some of the security equipment in his home and that he had a personal connection with the person found dead. Aaron had remained quiet about the indecent and nothing had really happened until this morning when he was arrested.

Right after Aaron Hernandez was arrested, the New England Patriots released a statement saying that they had released him from the team. This was part of their statement I read on TMZ.com-"We realize that law enforcement investigations into this matter are ongoing. We support their efforts and respect the process.  At this time, we believe this transaction is simply the right thing to do.”

There have not been charges filed yet, but they will be filed when he is arraigned later today.
