Several people lost their homes in the Taylor Bridge Fire, and several more lost their livelihood as hay and grass growers.
Even though people are feeling thankful their animals survived the blaze, the hay and pastures have been scorched. That left those with livestock questioning whether or not they can get their animals through the winter!
You may have seen these cups for sale at the Fair this year. They are being sold to raise money for "Breast Cancer Awareness"

Earlier this summer Tri-Cities’ food banks reached out to media saying they were seeing an unexplained and unexpected spike in need. They reported serving the same number of families in June as they typically do during the holiday season!
The 1st Annual Tastiest Catch Event turned out really well last night! There was a pretty nice crowd of about 300 people. Tony & I played our acoustic duet for the social hour and then we all ate Crab and salad and chowder and corn on the cobb! It was awesome!
Thursday night at O’Callahan’s at The Shilo Inn in Richland 300 people came to put the hurt on nearly 600 lbs of crab, salad, corn on the cob, chowder and cupckaes. All to benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital Clinic
"Run Miles 4 Smiles" is a 4 mile fun run to raise money for all patients accessing services from Seattle Children's hospital and their uncompensated care. Check out our interview with Makenna & Kayleen.
