June 14, 2012 Weekend is almost here, and I'm definitely going try to get to one of the movies that I've been wanting to see.
I always go to Fairchild Cinema cause it's close to me, and I love the seats.
On my list to see is :
The Avengers, Men in Black 3 and of course

If you love going to the movies but are on a limited budget, this will give you cause for celebration: hundreds of theaters across the US will be selling tickets to selected movies and showings for just $1 this summer.
The box office can be a funny thing. Last weekend, ‘Men in Black 3‘ made $55 million and was considered a disappointment. This weekend, ‘Snow White and the Huntsman‘ pulled in $56 million and it’s considered a roaring success. As bizarre as that sounds, it all makes sense when you look at the details.

Ryan Reynolds has not had an easy time with franchises. He’s the kind of handsome, charismatic and blandly likeable actor you’d think would be leading his own action franchise by now but despite a few attempts – his ‘Blade’ spinoff went nowhere, ‘Deadpool’ continues to go nowhere and the less said about ‘The Green Lantern’ the better – has come up empty.
But if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Enter: ‘Highlander.’
Poor Barnabas Collins never stood a chance. Tim Burton’s ‘Dark Shadows‘ found itself clobbered to death over the weekend courtesy of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, who rode a perfect cocktail of hype and stellar word-of-mouth to an unprecedented second weekend. It’s no longer a question of whether or not ‘The Avengers‘ will be one of the biggest movies of all time, mainly because it already is one of the biggest movies of all time: after only nineteen days, it’s crossed the $1 billion mark. The question we should be pondering now is whether or not it will become the biggest movie of all time.

There’s going to be a wild rumpus in heaven tonight. Maurice Sendak, beloved author and illustrator of such children’s classics as ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ and the controversial ‘In the Night Kitchen,’ passed away in Danbury, Conn. following complications from a recent stroke. He was 83.
Just one new movie opening in wide release this weekend, but for comic book fans, it’s a Superhero-palooza.
Congrats are in order for Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson. After being preggers for what felt like forever, the singer/actress/designer/reality star has given birth to a daughter today (May 1) in Los Angeles and has named her Maxwell Drew Johnson.
