July 18, 2012 There was a time, that I would "Just say NO" but, it seems lately...I just don't WANT to!! And I indulge! Which made me wonder what it is for everyone else. For me it's the sweet stuff! There is always room for dessert for me!

(Now former) ‘American Idol‘ judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler each announced their departure from the show this week, with Lopez announcing that she was moving on during a chat with ‘Idol’ host Ryan Seacrest on Friday (July 13). Tyler beat her to the punch, releasing a statement about his imminent exit the day before. Now a report has surfaced indicating that each judge was fired, even though the show allowed them to bow out gracefully.

After two seasons, Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has chosen to leave his role as a judge on ‘American Idol.’ Tyler made the announcement via press release, smack dab in the middle of speculation that Charlie Sheen is up for a slot on the panel and right after Jennifer Lopez, who joined the same season as Tyler, said that she thinks it’s time for her to go. Will Randy ‘Yo! Dawg!’ Jackson be the sole judge to remain?

Griffith, known for his work on such classic shows as ‘The Andy Griffith Show’ and ‘Matlock,’ was 86.
June 29, 2012 You all know how much I love Ellen! I just love her sense of humor! I try to watch the show even when I'm on the air! And she makes me laugh so hard. If you listen to me on the radio, I am often mentioning things she does.

June 20, 2012 I had the pleasure of visiting Tri-Tech Skills Center again today. I've been there a few times to talk to the students who are taking the Radio class there with Ed Daily. Ed is an amazing teacher at Tri-Tech, and also hosts our "Legends of Country" show on Sundays on our sister station KORD.
Fans of big hair and even bigger drama rejoice — ‘Dallas’ is back! TNT’s continuation of the classic ’80s primetime soap that had the nation asking “Who Shot J.R.?” premieres tonight, catching us up on the doings of Bobby, Sue Ellen and the seemingly unkill-able bad guy J.R. Ewing. In addition to its memorable characters, the show’s iconic theme song is one of the best remembered TV themes of the 1980s.
