Tri-Cities locals are posting about lots of internet outages lately, especially over the 4th of July weekend, but I don't know the reason.

It's a private company but I sometimes fantasize it would be nice if internet was like a public utility that had to explain outages and request a rate increase. For example, monthly bills increased from $59.99 to $64.99 in Feb. and I'd love to know why. They do let you bundle TV, phone and internet so you only pay $29.99 for internet, but personally I use a cheap TV antennae and get everything I need free, in HD, through the air, like LOCAL RADIO!  :-)

DID YOU KNOW... when there's an internet or cable outage, you can call the next day and request a credit. YOU HAVE TO CALL FOR IT. If the $2 credit is worth the time it takes to you to make the call try 1 (855) 757-7328 and I wish you the best of luck!
