I've been freaking out a little this last few weeks, worrying about people and animals that don't have a way to get out of the cold!

I, myself am so sensitive to cold that I  just can hardly bare the thought of someone else not being able to get warm!

I asked my son who works in downtown Seattle how the people seem to be coping that he sees as he walks to work in downtown each day.

He said lots of them are putting plastic bags around their feet as they sleep outside so they can at least keep their feet dry. Then he texted me a picture of a bunch of backpacks that his work group filled with scarves, gloves and hats and handed them out to a group of those people who are living on the street. His company is Yesler.

I was so happy to hear that! So a BIG HUGE THANK YOU to them! Makes me happy to know he is working for a good and caring company! And Kudos to my son Brenden who paid for two nights of a hotel for a homeless man so he had somewhere safe and warm to stay and shower.

I did some checking to see the current needs of our local shelter here, The

Tri-Cities Union Gospel Mission  in Pasco.  I was able to see a current list of "IMMEDIATE NEEDS" for people in this area. There is always a need for so many things, particularly this time of year! So please help if you can! just check their website on the blue link above.

Pet Over Population Prevention will help find Dog houses for people who cannot afford them to help keep dogs who have to remain outside stay warm! So look around you PLEASE and see where help is needed.

Our Company is doing the Christmas for Children again this year, which helps to provide needed items and gifts for Foster Kids in our area.

And Safe Harbor Support Center and My Friends Place (Teen homeless shelter) is also providing shelter and items for people in need.

So, if you are in a position to help in anyway, Click the Blue Hyper Links to find out more about how you can help.  God bless you all for giving what you can to make our communities happier and healthier!
