Come Ski Bluewood in Dayton WA! So Much Fun Learning to Snowboard!

Well, you'd guess that at my age learning something new like Snowboarding would prove to be crazy difficult! But it wasn't! It was SOOO much FUN! I've skied for years but never snowboarded.

6:30am came early, but Greg Delange picked me up in the station rig and we headed to Bluewood to take our first lesson of our EZ Ski & Ride Package!

Our instructor at Bluewood was Cory. He was awesome! Before we knew it we were heading down the slopes and going up on the Platerpull.

The staff at Bluewood was awesome. It seriously felt like they'd rolled out the red carpet for us. Treated us wonderfully well!

Next Sunday we will take the lift chair and head up to a steeper more advanced slope! I like the fact that with snowboarding, there is only ONE thing to carry. NO poles, and not two skis. Just one board! Kinda cool! I do LOVE to ski though...so now I have to ways to enjoy the slopes and the sunshine in the higher elevations.

The amazing thing was that it was Blue Sky and Sunshine! Music playing outside on the balcony overlooking the slopes! Great food inside! And even a great Espresso Bar!  Can't wait to get back up there next Sunday!
