Costco Black Pepper Recalled — Could Have Salmonella
When you think of salmonella you usually think of contaminated chicken.Costco brand black pepper is being recalled due to salmonella contamination.
Late last week, Costco started calling customers to warn them about the contamination, which was discovered during testing by the Food and Drug Administration.
The recall covers 5,153 cases of pepper sold in 12.7 oz. plastic jars with a best before date of 03/2017 and Lot Nos. OT 065099, OT 065169, OT 065254, OT 065255, OT 065256 and OT 065284.
So check your pantry for the product and protect your family!
