Could Genetic Testing Reduce Your Risk of Cancer?

Approximately 10-15 percent of people have a genetic mutation associated with an increased risk of breast and ovarian cancer. Genetic testing could help women find out if they have the gene and are at greater risk. The Tri-Cities Cancer Center will host a free presentation on Genetic Testing for Breast and Ovarian Cancer where information will be given about the characteristics of cancers, guidelines for testing, managing hereditary cancer risk, costs, and recommended options to reduce your risk.

The presentation will be held on Oct. 16 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. A complementary lunch will be provided courtesy of the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation.
