Stacy Lee is from California and had never heard of this. Knowing I grew up in a poor family, she assumed this was because my parents couldn't afford good winter boots. But everybody does this! Answer the poll and tell her so! We'll share the answers next week.Take empty bread bags, shake the crumbs out, and put them on your feet underneath your winter boots. Your feet will stay dryer and warmer!

Do kids still do it today? Stacy thinks that's too redneck for most young people today. I bet they still do it anywhere kids want to keep their feet warm and dry!

While we were talking about this it also came out that when we were young kids wore tube socks on their hands as mittens, or underneath their mittens. I wonder how many of you tried that?
