I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who tries to make a comforting call to a pet that is at home when I'm away.

Come on,   have you done the same thing?

I have to admit, I've also done things like leave the TV on for my dog to watch while I'm away. I even once bought Animal Planet on cable just so she'd be able to see other pets.
