This by all accounts is the earliest harvest of wine grapes EVER in Washington state. The summer has been extremely hot and dry causing many of the area's crops to be ready early. What does this mean for the 2015 vintage which will in some cases (Red Wine) be drinkable in 2 to 3 years?

We paid a visit to Fidelitas here's what we found...EXCELLENT WINES!

According to all the wine guru's this years should produce some amazing tasting wines!!

Dan Nickolaus of Champoux Vineyards tell's KNDU

"All varieties are way ahead of schedule,"  "On the farming end of it, everything is compressed so we're in a mad rush to get everything done on time. But you know it's been a good year."

Hot weather doesn't just mean a record early harvest, but a tasty one as well.

By the way August is Washington wine month so grab a glass, heck grab a bottle of your favorite Washington wine and enjoy!
