Help Kick Off Earth Day Friday March 28th at Greenies on George Washington Way in Richland.

Go Green Tri-Cities replaces the former Mid-Columbia Earth Month website to encourage environmental sustainability all year long, and features the areas first Green Pages Business Directory.
Earth Hour, a global event to switch-off lights or power-down for one hour this Saturday beginning at 8:30 p.m., will kick off April’s Earth Month.
Saturday events include an interpretive flashlight hike at Chamna Natural Preserve in Richland. Participants should meet in the west parking lot of Chamna Preserve, off Aaron Drive and west of Inland Asphalt, near the I-182 Bridge by the Yakima River at 8 p.m.
Children under 5 and pets are not allowed. For more information or to RSVP, call Tapteal Greenway volunteer Scott, at 627-3621 or email woodfish24@charter.net. An acoustic jam, live streaming of global events, and the dimming of the decorative lights on the cable bridge will begin at 8 p.m. at Crow’s Nest at Clover Island in Kennewick.
