Faith Martin Product Review Yaktrax [VIDEO]

Most often, I don't mind running in a little snow, but when it gets ice underneath it can be treacherous! Hiking in icy areas can be tough as well. 

I recently purchased the Yaktrax from REI online. I think they were $39 and with tax it came to 43.39. I got free shipping cause I also ordered a dog collar light. Apparently they don't carry the 'running' ones in store. Only online. you can get the walking, hiking ones in store though.

Anyway, this is fresh out of the box...a quick video of how easy/hard they are to get on your shoes.

In the morning, I will try them out and use them to hike up Badger and then run the skyline trail down. We'll see how it goes! I think there is still ice and snow up there!
