The Blue Angels are coming! (Is Dangerzone in your head now?) Well, at least ONE of the famous Blue Angel jets has a new home in Seattle's Museum of Flight. The F/A-18C Hornet, known as "No. 2" of Blue Angels flyers, will travel from Pensacola, Fla., to Seattle. It should arrive by Aug. 22 to its new home. It's on "permanent loan" from the National Naval Aviation Museum.

To get the jet from Florida to Washington, they have to dissemble parts, load them into trucks, then put it back together upon arrival. No. 2 (or Blue Number 2 is it's now known) has seen action in Dessert Storm, Somalia, and Afghanistan to name a few. This gorgeous bird can now rest comfortably in the Pacific Northwest and inspire generations of new pilots. Can't wait to see it!
