Finally! We Know When Irrigation Water Starts for 2018 in TC

It has been so nice outside that I have been thinking about when we can start watering the lawn again and now we know!

The canals are filling up with water now, but the official start date is not for a couple weeks for KID. The official start date is this Sunday April 1st but KID says to remember it could take a couple of weeks for the water to reach all their customers. They are testing the irrigation pumps, according to reports.

Regular water levels are expected and there are no restrictions planned this year for water prevention.

The Columbia Irrigation District says they will have water to their customers by April 15th.

The South Columbia Basin Irrigation District began last week for some customers and the rest will begin by Wednesday.

The  East Columbia Basin Irrigation District says they started filling the canals last week also and customers should have water around Wednesday,
