The Bechtel National Planetarium at CBC will be showing the Oscar nominated film  'The Martian' starring Matt Damon produced by Ridley Scott. There are 2 showing today at...

4 pm and 7 pm. The doors will open 30 minutes prior. It's free for CBC students and staff with student I.D. and just $2.00 for the general public.

Following each showing, planetarium director Dr. Kristy Henscheid will give a brief presentation on Mars missions and geology. Using our state-of-the art software and full-dome projection system, Dr. Henscheid will discuss various Martian rovers and landers, what they have discovered, and why choosing their landing sites was critical to their missions' survival and success.
