Health Alert E. coli the Culprit of Major Ground Beef Recall

All American Meats out of Ohama Nebraska is recalling 167,000 pounds of ground beef due to possible E.coli contamination. The beef was shipped to retailers through out the US

The recall includes 60- and 80-pound boxes of ground beef produced Oct. 16 with a Nov. 3 "sell by" date, a USDA inspection stamp and an establishment number of 20420. Click here for complete list of products.

Also over the weekend Chipotle Mexican Restaurants closed 43 store in Washington and Oregon due to patrons getting sick from E.coli.  At least 19 cases have been reported, that number is expected to grow. So far the closures have not affected Chipotle in Tri-Cities.
