Health Professionals Urge You To Get a Flu Shot

I have my flu shot every year on the Radio...I know big deal! But it is a big deal. I really want everyone who is able to get the flu shot this year to help PREVENT flu death!

The CDC estimates somewhere between 3,300 and 49,000 people die annually from influenza. The flu can greatly be reduced when people choose to vaccinate. In fact the CDC reports Influenza and Pneumonia as the 8th leading cause of death in the US.

This years vaccination is readily available from your Doctor's office to Corner drug Stores... Trios Health and Nurse Barnes gave me my shot today which they say is at least 90% effective for this year's flu strains...here's my flu face...
