Healthy Deviled Eggs With Avocado Instead of Mayonnaise [RECIPE]
You may have seen this recipe floating around Facebook or on Pinterest, so I thought I would make it and give you my opinion. The original recipe is pretty simple so I followed it for the most part.
Here’s the original:
DEVILED AVOCADO EGGS
Mash 1 large avocado with 3 egg yolks. Add 1 tsp. cilantro, 3 tsp lime juice, 1 tbsp red onion, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Top with a sprinkle of chili or paprika.
I added 1 tsp Cumin and 1 tsp of onion powder
Next time I think I add some chopped Jalapeno pepper for a kick. Over all if you like avocado you’ll love these eggs.
