Some of you know that inside my house, there are occasional weird things that happen. I've often wondered if my house is haunted.

I've had the TV just pop on in the middle of the night, with the volume on MAX! Lights have turned on or off all on their own.

I figured it's either an electric problem or something from beyond... In that case, I'm okay with it being there as long as whoever or whatever it is, is minding their  manners,  and not eating my chocolate!

But, for some time now, there is a strong intermittent "tapping" noise going on somewhere behind my wall or in the garage or water heater or something.

From my bedroom it sounds like someone is knocking! It's so loud at times, I have to turn on the bathroom fan and leave the door open to create a "white noise" to block out the sound of knocking so I can fall asleep.

I'm sure there is a logical reason...but, I'll be darned if I know what it is! My gut tells me it has something to do with the pressure valve in my water heater. But, I don't even know if there IS a pressure valve! So, I'm really just guessing!

Anyone know what this might be?!
