It looks like TLC has decided to cancel popular reality show 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' in light of the alarming allegations that matriarch Mama June is dating convicted child molester, Mark McDaniel.

TMZ reported that although Mama June has since claimed she is not seeing McDaniel, the network does not believe her and has ultimately chosen to cancel the show. According to TMZ, the network says Mama June's children's best interests are at heart, and they believe Mama June is putting them at risk.

TLC has apparently shot an entire new season's worth of episodes, but is no longer planning on airing them.

Thankfully, the network is not abandoning the kids. A rep is reported as telling TMZ: "Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children's ongoing comfort and well-being." TMZ also states that the network is planning on providing the children with tutors and counselors.

UPDATE: Mama June has taken to Facebook to post a response to the rumors swirling around the family. She confirms that 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' is canceled, but goes on to deny the allegations made against her, saying: "The statement of me dating a sex offender is totally untrue. Pumpkin has openly said that I am not dating him. I would not ever, ever, ever put my kids in danger. I love my kids too much."
