A man walking to his friend's Moses Lake residence noticed a burglar inside a neighbor's house. He acted fast and helped police apprehend the man.

The hero realized the burglar had climbed in through a window. Once caught, the burglar (a Pasco man) tried to escape. The Moses Lake man put him in a chokehold and punched him in the face.

The Pasco man said his cousin knew the owner of the home and the cousin had given him permission to crawl through the window to borrow the tools. The homeowner was contacted by police, was not happy with the story, and sent the burglar to jail.
