Then I was fortunate to have the right person come into my life and help lead me to getting saved. Now that I've been on both sides of the fence, I'm able to see both views.

What saddens me is when someone hasn't taken the time to understand what the Bible says. If you want to be an atheist go ahead, but give equal amount of time to figuring out what God is all about.

I think most would realize, "This atheist thing is kind of silly." As a believer, the way I see it is, "Why would you want to risk your eternal life?" If there is a God, He does not like being denied. Atheism is a risky position, and I don't think a lot of people have enough knowledge to back it up.

If you were raised religious and have a good understanding, you're very fortunate you gained that education. But if you still don't believe, I would suggest you maybe never had God in your heart. Once He's in your heart He's in. He never goes away.

With social media the way it is when people say, "Screw God," it throws a dagger in me. It hurts me because I honestly, truly, don't believe they have enough information to make that call. When I was a baby christian I sat on the fence. Now I speak up....bottom line: I will protect and defend my god. It's the least I could do.
