A new survey says average people are more offended by negative comments about their appearance than their race, religion or nationality! If that's true for you, then you should be aware that men make fun of over-sized sunglass frames.

Fashion and dating blogs frequently have articles like, "accessories you love and men hate." Every list has those over-sized frames, and it's true! My male coworkers confirm it.

• Bad ones make you look like a bug
• Good ones hide your face (and therefore your beauty)

Sometimes they give a first impression of mystery, glamour, elitism, etc. Not so bad, right? But after a few minutes it becomes really annoying because who wants to talk to someone when you can't see their face!?
