I’m Going to the OTHER Washington — What Are Your Favorite Places in District of Columbia?

A friend invited me to go with her to Washington, D.C. I haven't been in YEARS! I'm super excited. I have yet to see the Korean War memorial, the FDR one, the MLK Jr. memorial, the World War II memorial and more! Plus the museums. I love the museums. But listen, I can't go EVERYWHERE in just a few days. I need to prioritize. I need your help. Also tell me your favorite shops and restaurants. What about pocket parks or off-the-beaten-path places?
