A recall for Infants Ibuprofen has expanded to include Walmart, CVC and Family Dollar.

It's a voluntary recall from the maker of the drug TriPharma Inc. who believes the medicine may contain too much Ibuprofen. The recall has expanded.

The FDA has released the information on their official website. These are the medicines listed below are you are looking for in your medicine cabinet.

 

  • At CVS stores as Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension, USP, 50 mg per 1.25 mL, in 0.5 oz. bottle. Expiration 12/19, lot 4718, NDC (national drug code) 59799-925-23.
  • At Walmart as Equate: Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension 50 mg per 1.25 mL, 0.5 oz. bottle. Expiration 02/19, lot 00717005A, NDC 49035-125-24.
  • At CVS stores as Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension, USP, 50 mg per 1.25 mL, in 1 oz. bottle. Expiration 02/19, lot 00717006A, NDC 59779-925-24.
