I'm always searching for health on the go foods, and lets face it there is a wide margin of taste and quality when it comes to frozen foods. So spotted Self Health Kitchen Meals at the grocery store the other day and thought what the heck I'll give it a whirl.

According to the package there are no artificial ingredients and minimally processed. I tried the 'Southwest Style Chicken Enchilada' with rice and sweet potatoes. Here's the description from the box marinated chicken on a corn tortilla with corn and pepper, brown rice and beans, sweet potatoes, avocado and cheeses. 330 calories 8 grams of fat and 15 grams of protein and surprisingly low sodium 430mg or 18%.

I was a little apprehensive about the avocado but turns out it was pretty darn good. It is probably one of the best tasting frozen meals I've had in a long time. So if you're looking for healthy convenient food you may want to try 'Self Healthy Kitchen' Meals. I found them at Fred Meyer.

Here's what it looked like out of the oven
