Pasco teachers continue their strike even though a judge ordered a $2,000 per day fine for the union and $250 per day for each named officer if a deal hasn't been made and don't go back to work by Monday the 14th. Teachers are in a contract negation with the Pasco School District and are fighting for curriculum, class sizes, and pay raises. School was supposed to start last week but as of today classes have still not started because of the strike. Teachers are going to vote at the next Union meeting whether to stay on strike until the district gives in on curriculum or return to the classroom without a contract.
