Kennewick Woman Flips Car in DUI Crash, But Escapes Injury!
A Kennewick woman is lucky to have been unharmed after a spectacular DUI crash Monday evening.
Kennewick police responded to an accident near 221 E. 1st. Ave shortly before 8pm Monday night, and found a car driven by 35-year old Lindsay A. Nichols of Kennewick on it’s roof!
Nichols, according to KPD reports, had been westbound when she struck a parked vehicle and flipped her car. Authorities said at the scene she appeared to be under the influence of drugs, and a blood sample was taken onsite. She was booked in the Benton County Jail, but remarkably was not hurt in the accident.
It was a busy evening for Kennewick police, less than 90 minutes earlier, officers arrested 66-year old Nancy N. Walker of Pasco on DUI alcohol charges. Walker was pulled over near 2nd. Ave and High 395 after she was seen driving on the median. She was also booked in jail after the incident.
