Look for Kid's Play magazine's spring issue starting February 23rd in area businesses.  A great resource for families with children.  This spring will be a "Green Issue, " focusing on Green living

in the Tri-Cities and encourages area parents in the small steps that make a difference for our planet. The Spring issue covers the months of March, April, and May with focus on Arbor Day and Earth Day.

Kid’s Play is an excellent collaboration of area resources; contributing authors to this issue include Kennewick REI, Greenies in Richland, The WSU Master Gardeners, the Benton PUD, and Richland Parks and Rec, among others. We are excited to combine and distribute this knowledge in an attempt to make the Tri-Cities a greener place to live.

Our cover story, “Get Outside! Pedals, Parks, and Picnics,” focuses on family bicycling opportunities in the Tri-Cities and describes family friendly bike routes, essential gear for cycling with young kids, safety information, and appropriate ages for various types of activity.

Promotions and activities over the next three months will focus on encouraging eco-friendly behavior and supporting parents in an effort to get their families outdoors and active.  As promised, the family event calendar is once again the most comprehensive printed calendar of family friendly events in the   area.

Kid’s Play is an entirely local production. All of our stories and information come from authors right here in Tri-Cities; we print locally, hire locally, and strive to keep all our resources and funds here in our community.
