Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's family has just gotten a bit bigger. The couple has welcomed their new baby girl to the world, via surrogate, TMZ reports.

According to an announcement from Kim obtained from the site, their new addition arrived yesterday, Jan. 15. She was born at 12:47 a.m. and weighed 7 lbs., 6 oz.

"Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy beautiful baby girl," Kim wrote. "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dream come true with the greatest gift one could give, and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."

It was reported back in June that Kim and Kanye had hired a surrogate due to Kim's placenta accreta. The disorder would've made having another baby life-threatening.

This is Kim and Kanye's third child. The baby girl joins siblings North West, 4, and Saint West, 2.
