The Kennewick police need your help finding a hit & run driver that hit a teenager in front of his driveway playing basketball, putting him in critical condition.

“We’re asking anyone who had a camera or who saw or heard anything to give us a call", says Sgt. Aaron Clem of KPD.

The 17 year old teenager was struck between 7:25 & 8 pm while he was playing basketball in front of or on his driveway. His mother heard a noise and found him unconscious and having trouble breathing.

Police are sure he was struck by a car and that the driver fled the scene.

The teenager was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and was listed as critical condition.

The teen was struck near the intersections of 8th and S. Belfair street in Kennewick on a residential back roads.

Police say that area is not heavily traveled and that may lead to someone having witnessed the accident or seen the driver.
