Local Company Puts a Roof Over Head of Man Dying From Cancer

Ed Dailey -- local music legend, wedding officiator, high school instructor and KORD Sunday morning host -- shared a heart-warming story on Facebook this week.

Dailey heard of an older man recently diagnosed with cancer -- late stage cancer. When they received the bad news they were already frustrated with a leaky roof.

Now the man would have to spend whatever money he had on treatments and probably funeral arrangements instead of the roof. He was also too ill to climb up and fix it himself.

Fantastic people attract fantastic friends and after he'd shared the man's story a couple friends lead by Cam Stacy-Hardin, got in touch with Arrowhead Roofing in Moses Lake.

They volunteered to replace the man's roof.

The little man cried soooo hard with joy. Doesn't it do ur heart good to know once he passes his wife will at least have a roof over her head... a miracle."
