When I was a kid schools gave equal time to Christmas and Hanukkah and considered their bases covered. But today schools are listening to some parents who disagree with Halloween, others don't like St. Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day. Atheists want to know why their kids are decorating Easter Eggs.

But if there's one thing the current presidential election has taught us, it's that many Americans have had enough of Political Correctness.

Look, I believe in being respectful of ALL viewpoints, but holidays are supposed to be fun. At school they spell crafts, not theology. I say let the kids make their paper spiders and hand out Valentines. What do YOU think?
