Malaysian Airlines Flight Found, Hope Gone for Survivors

The prime minister of Malaysian announced today the evidence is conclusive that Flight 370 went down over the southern Indian Ocean and there is no hope for survivors.The flight was supposed to go from Malaysia to Beijing, China. It veered off course March 8 for unknown reasons.

Australian officials believe they've found portions of the plane in the ocean and say pieces could be retrieved in a matter of hours to confirm its identity.

A Chinese government plane claims to also have found debris, but other searchers could not confirm this. Critics say the debris found by either search could just be ocean junk (like containers fallen off a cargo ship).

A British satellite has supposedly confirmed the debris found by the Australians is Flight 370.

Fewer experts are suspecting foul play and many are now adopting the in-flight fire theory.

239 people are believed to be lost.

If the Australians are correct, the plane was heading south and can be found off the cost of Perth, Australia.
