Richland police have a man in custody, who allegedly made a bomb threat Thursday afternoon.

Details are still coming out, but according to our news partner KNDU-TV,  around 2 p.m. a man walked into the main lobby of the main hospital facility at Kadlec in Richland and made specific threats about a bomb.

According to KNDU, Richland police said via Facebook:

"An individual went to Kadlec and made threats of having a bomb. We have found the suspect and he is in custody"

The man apparently walked in, made the threat about a bomb in his backpack, then tried to flee on foot.  He was captured on Thayer Dr. by police and is in custody.  The facility temporarily went into a lock down while police chased the suspect.

A search of his backpack showed no explosive devices.  No further details about the incident or man have been released.
