The Grant County Sheriff's office has launched an investigation to figure out what led to a 34-year-old man's truck plunging off a 200-foot cliff Tuesday.

Grant County Emergency Services and Sheriff's responded to the report of the truck going over the cliff near Marlin, WA a small unincorporated area about 20 miles Northeast of Moses Lake.

Around 3pm, says the Columbia Basin Herald, Benjamin McAfee of Wilson Creek, WA was Eastbound on Road 22 East, very close to State Route 28. His truck left the roadway, and went off the steep cliff.

Sadly, he was ejected from the vehicle, and died at the scene. His body was found by emergency personnel. An autopsy is planned and the investigation continues.
