Facebook founder posted a statement supporting a Texas High School student who was arrested for bringing a homemade digital clock to school. A teacher at the school thought the clock looked like a bomb, the irony is the... boys name is Ahmed Mohamed. Here's what Mark Zuckerberg had to say:

You’ve probably seen the story about Ahmed, the 14 year old student in Texas who built a clock and was arrested when he took it to school.

Having the skill and ambition to build something cool should lead to applause, not arrest. The future belongs to people like Ahmed.

Ahmed, if you ever want to come by Facebook, I'd love to meet you. Keep building.

The 14 year old aspiring engineer was handcuffed, arrested, and finger printed and suspended from MacArthur High School in Texas. This story is completely outrageous and this sort of prejudice needs to stop.
