We were honored to have Miss Washington 2017 Nicole Renard stop by this morning, she filled us in on what she's been up to since the Miss America Pageant...

Miss Washington Nicole Renard, who is from Kennewick, will be visiting the Tri-Cities Nov. 9-11 and visited with us, Rik and Stacy Lee, on The Key Friday morning.

She is a 2013 graduate of Kamiakin High school, a 2017 graduate of Chapman University, and she competed in the 2017 Miss America Pageant this past September.

The Miss Tri-Cities Scholarship Program is honored to host her during her visit. Below is the schedule of her appearances during her visit:

  • Nov. 9: She will be visiting classes at Kamiakin High School and will be interviewed for a podcast.
  • Nov. 10: She will be visiting pediatric patients at Kadlec Regional Medical Center at 10 a.m. and at Kadlec Healthplex at 1 p.m.
  • Nov. 11: She will be celebrating Veteran’s Day in the West Richland Veteran’s Day Parade at 9:30 a.m.
  • Nov. 11: She and other Miss America local titleholders will be signing autographs at the Columbia Center Mall at 2 p.m. in front of Macy’s.
  • Nov. 11: She will be honored by the Kennewick Mayor Young at a fall celebration at the Tri-City Country Club, starting at 6 p.m.

During her year as Miss Washington, she is promoting her platform “You are Enough: Developing A Positive Body Image.”
