Did you know that Palouse Falls is the official waterfall for the State of Washington? It is and here's why

On February 12, 2014, the Washington State House of Representatives passed HB 2119 unanimously to make Palouse Falls the official state waterfall in Washington State. The proposal for the bill originated when a group of elementary school students in the nearby town of Washtucna lobbied the state legislature.

Pretty sweet...if you do decide to take the 90 minute drive from Tri-Cities to the falls bring plenty of water and food for a picnic and BTW You need a WA STATE DISCOVERY PASS
