If you need a mid week farmers market fix. The Pasco farmers market will now be open Wednesday's from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each week through the growing season.

a fundraising event is planned Wednesday to support Pasco’s Food Truck Fridays, the farmers market and other downtown Pasco revitalization efforts to keep going.

Tux and Trucks will offer fare from 10 food trucks, as well as drinks and desserts, dancing and a live auction with at least one dining package.

Ten percent of the auction proceeds will go toward the Downtown Pasco Development Authority, which oversees the market and the Pasco Specialty Kitchen.

The event is from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Pasco Farmers Market pavilion at Fourth Avenue and Columbia Street. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door.
